Tried to go into work.
Tried to work.
Tried to leave work.
Got stuck.
Abandoned car.

(…the rest of the story…)

Got home.

I’m too tired to get into any detail right now, but somewhere along the line I did manage to snap a picture. Which I guess is how it’s going to go, sometimes.

So I know Cliff Mass has downgraded his forecast to two to five inches, but I’m staying home as long as there is white on the ground, thank you very much.

…I hope my car’s okay.

OMG, Sherlock series 2 finale. You guys, watch these episodes now so I can gush about them in detail, okay?

I’ve added some social media button thingies on my entries. I’m feeling a little dirty about it, and I don’t make many lolcats, so I’m not sure why I’m bothering. We’ll see how it goes?

  • I've said it before, as have others, but it's time to say it again.

You take such wonderful photographs; you truly, truly do. Such an eye.

  • It's true. I wish I had half of Eden's talent.

  • Oh, shush. Your blog makes my heart hurt.

  • *blush*

Honey, all this stuff is by accident. If you could only see the things I throw away...

But thank you. It makes me glow, even if I can't believe it.

  • Emily Fickenwirth

Oh man! I'm glad you're okay (and hope your car's okay too)! Sounds like quite the awful afternoon. I'll bet warm and dry home feels amazing right about now.

I escaped around noon, only to discover that it wasn't snowing over on my side. Currently waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Also, I <3 geometry (and this photo!) I'm sure I've seen where this is but it's shot in a way that's so disorienting it makes me look at it in a completely different way.

  • I'm glad you got home! I think I was just a victim of very bad timing and bad tires. I got to the hill on fresh snow and lost traction -- If I'd been twenty minutes later the road may have been sanded, but I'd already lost all confidence.

As for the picture, I'm sure you've seen it, too. I'll give you a tour, next time we meet!

    (and thanks!!)
