Re: FAN DEATH. My (Taiwanese) parents banter about the idea of fan death. Since my dad is a medical doctor, he tempers the story by saying that you can get “sick” from having a fan blow on you while you sleep.

Oh dear, how will I be able to make occasional comments on your posts? Grrr for closed commenting systems with invite-only signups. However, I’ve loved seeing the increase in posting activity. Perhaps I’ll have to finagle an invite from someone…

Re: Fan Death: I’ve never heard of that before. I’ve probably spent the majority of my nights sleeping in front of a fan, and as far as I can tell, it hasn’t killed me yet.
