Does this sound like a good idea to anyone?
Not only would the Bush Administration’s “Enhancement of Survival Permit” program permit the hunting and capture of hitherto protected, endangered species, it shamelessly purports to do so in the name of conservation!
Of course this kind of “kill to save” philosophy isn’t anything new for this government; for instance, it’s perfectly compatible with Bush’s Healthy Forests Restoration Act, and even the Iraq War…

I’ve always felt if it was good enough to kill animals in order to keep population control, then it is good enough to kill humans to keep population control.
So, who wants to take a little hunting trip to India and China?
