No, actually. Kurt Rodarmer, arranged for two guitars (on Sony Classical). I think it was probably a “fad release” in the label’s eyes when it came out, but it’s beautiful stuff, performed expertly. Been a favorite of mine for years now— you should check it out if you can!

The Master and Margarita is hilarious. I have a thing for Russian books with the devil though, especially hallucinatory devils like Ivan’s in The Brothers Karamazov. Mmm, russki.
